I grew up making these cookies with grandma and was
always my job to stir for the 3 minutes. They will always be one of my favorites
because of her.
2 Cups
sugar
½ C. milk
3 T.
cocoa powder
Stir
until mixed over medium heat in a saucepan. Add 1 cube butter, ½ Cup peanut
butter. Boil for 3 minutes constantly stirring. Take off the heat and add 1 tsp
vanilla and 3 cups of quick oats. Spoon them onto a wax paper or Silpat to
cool.
