make this cake for both my Dad’s and Grandparents Birthday because it is sweet
but doesn’t have a heavy frosting! They love it and is now a tradition!
1 pkg. Lemon Cake mix (I use Duncan
Hines)
1 pkg. (3.5 oz) instant lemon pudding
¾ C oil
¾ C water
4 eggs
Preheat oven to 350 and grease cake pan.
Put all ingredients together and beat for 10 minutes on low speed with a hand
mixer. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes or less depending on your
oven. While cake is hot poke holes in it with a fork or chopstick and glaze
with the following:
½ C of orange juice
2 T melted butter
2 C powdered sugar
Mix well and drizzle over hot cake with
holes poked in it!
