Cinnamon Rolls

I use the “Dennis Rolls” recipe but I add 3 more tbls. sugar. For orange rolls it’s the same but I add zest from one orange to dough.


Cinnamon Roll Filling

3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1 tbls. Cinnamon
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup pecans (optional)

Mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter
until it resembles coarse crumbs. Roll out dough
into long rectangle and spread filling. You can
sprinkle raisins and pecans if you want them.
Roll and slice and place on greased sheet and
let rise. Bake at 375 for 15 min.

Glaze
3 cups powder sugar
1/3 cup creamed cheese, softened
3 tbls. butter
1 tsp vanilla

Mix together and add enough light cream
to make it into a glaze. To make this
glaze for the orange rolls add zest from an
orange and use orange juice in place of
light cream

Orange Roll Filling

1/2 stick butter
1 cup sugar
Zest from one orange
Juice from one orange

Mix together and spread over rolled
out dough.
