Fajita Mix

Makes 3 mixes worth

 

3 T. cornstarch

2 T. chili powder

1 T. salt

1 T. paprika

1 T. sugar

2 ½ tsp. crushed chicken bouillon cubes

1 ½ tsp. onion powder

½ tsp. garlic powder

½ tsp. cayenne pepper

½ tsp. cumin

 

Mix all dry ingredients and store in an airtight lid. When ready to make fajitas use 3 Tablespoons of mix and add to 1 T oil and 1/3 cup water in a medium bowl.

 

To make fajitas cut up 2 chicken breast into strips and place in the liquid mix to marinate for 10-20 minutes. Place in hot frying pan cook on medium and stir around in pan for a minute. Then add one red pepper , green pepper, and yellow onion cut up in strips. Put lid on it and cook for 8-9 minutes stirring every so often. Serve on tortillas with sour cream, cheese, and cilantro.
