Dad's Rolls


This is the roll recipe from Tawnie’s wedding.

2 eggs
6 tbls. Butter
6 tbls. Sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup potato flakes
1 tsp yeast or 1 envelope
4 plus cups of flour

In large mixing bowl add eggs, butter
sugar, and salt. Heat milk so it is
hot about 1 1/2 min in microwave.
Add potato flakes to hot milk and stir,
let it stand until potato flakes have
dissolved. Add to mixing bowl and sprinkle
yeast on top and let it soak in. Gradually
stir in flour. You will have to add enough
flour to make the dough sticky but not stiff.
Let it rise till at least doubled, and then punch
it down. Roll it out on a floured surface and
cut and place on greased sheet cake pan.
Let rise about 40 min and bake at 375 for
15 to 17 minutes. You can also roll the dough
into balls and place in greased cup cake tin
and let raise and bake as above.
