Cornbread

This is a family staple at our house. Both Adalyn and Kaylie can make it with great success every time. It is especially flavorful and wonderful if you use fresh ground popcorn.

 

2 1/2 cups flour

1 1/2 cup cornmeal (1 cup of popcorn freshly ground)

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda

1 cup sugar

 

Beat then add:

2 eggs

2 cups milk

1 1/2 Tbs. vinegar

1/2 cup oil

 

Pour into 9x13 pan. Bake at 425º for 25 minutes.
