Adrianna Laird
1 C soy
1 C water
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp garlic
Put all the
ingredients into a crock pot with enough chicken for your meal and let it cook.
We usually peel potatoes, put them in a pot, and let the water come to a boil
and then turn it off and let them sit in the water with the lid on while we are
at church. When we get home heat the water up just to a boil again and then
drain and mash potatoes. Dinner is ready Nick will often take some of the sauce
and thicken it into a teriyaki gravy to put on the potatoes, but just the sauce
is good by it self if not. You can strain the remaining sauce after dinner and
freeze for another meal. This recipe can also be done in the oven at 350 for
about 45 min. The chicken gets more tender the longer and slower it cooks.
(this is the correct amount for my small crockpot, I usually double it for the
big one.
