Pizza Dough

Rachael Coon from Fleischmann’s

Friday night is pizza night and movie night at our house! But we don’t want to wait for 2 or more hours for our pizza to be done. So we use “pizza yeast” and it makes homemade pizza in 30 minutes!

1 ¾ -2 ¼ cups of flour

1 envelope of Fleischmann’s Pizza Yeast

1 ½ tsp. sugar

¾ tsp. salt

2/3 cup very warm water (120-130 degrees)

3 Tablespoon of oil (we use olive oil)

Preheat oven to 425. Combine a cup of flour, undissolved yeast, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Add water and oil. Mix until well blended, about 1 minute. Add gradually, enough reaming flour until soft dough ball is formed. Dough will be slightly sticky. Knead on a floured surface adding more flour if needed until smooth and elastic, about 4 minutes. Roll dough into a 12 inch circle and transfer unto pizza pan (stone) and top with your favorite pizza ingredients. Bake at the bottom rack in oven for 12-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is browned.

tooth pick in it and take out when it comes out clean! Let cool for just a little bit and serve!!
