Sweet Potato Casserole

Tawnie made this one Thanksgiving and it was so good that I just had to have the recipe. Then I made it for Thanksgiving and my Sister in Law just had to have the recipe. This recipe is a must have and now it is yours! ~Rachael

 

4 cups of hot mashed sweet potatoes (or you can just use canned potatoes to save time)

1/3 cup of butter

1/4 cup of sugar

2 eggs beaten

1/2 cup of evaporated milk

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp salt

 

Mix potatoes, butter, and sugar together, beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla, salt. Pour into a greased casserole dish.

 

Topping

Mix together: 1/2 cup of pecans, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 4 tablespoons of flour, and 4 tablespoons of melted butter. The mixture should be crumbly, sprinkle over the sweet potatoes to evenly cover

Cook casserole at 350 for 45 minutes
